Alison's previous role as a Creative Director in the fashion industry meant she worked long hours, travelled to far flung places and became only too familiar with eating the wrong foods at the wrong times in the wrong way! The resulting effects of poor nutritional choices left her drained of energy, stressed and unable to shift those extra few pounds of weight she had gained.

From this grew a slow but steady interest in nutrition. By making more intelligent food choices she began to feel more energised, less stressed and lost those few extra pounds. She was amazed at the power that different nutrients had on her mood, energy, stress levels and weight. This continuing passion for real whole foods and the therapeutic effects they can have on many aspects of health and wellbeing led her to make a monumental career decision and lifestyle change.  Alison embarked on 4 years of study at the highly acclaimed Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London and never looked back!

Alison is passionate about sharing her knowledge and inspiring others to make food changes to simply make them feel better. She understands only too well the challenges involved in the busy lives we lead and the decisions we make around food as a result of this. She knows that food doesn’t have to be boring to be healthy and this is what she want to share with you on your journey to optimal health.
