Traditional Chinese Acupuncture (TCM)

Our acupuncturist and centre manager Ruth Irving has been a professional member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) since 2007.  Not all acupuncturists are eligible to be a BAcC member - only those who have extensive training to degree level, such as Ruth.

She may use a combination of techniques to achieve the best treatment outcome for you.  Her specialisms include traditional acupuncture (including cupping, gua sha, moxa, massage), yoga and mindfulness.  Acupressure is a needle-free option, including ear acupressure using ear-seeds.

Ruth is a general practitioner of acupuncture treating a spectrum of issues from back pain to vertigo.  Visit the BAcC Evidence section for current research into the effectiveness of acupuncture for some common conditions.

Ruth has a special interest in the holistic management of menopause, fertility & IVF and anxiety and stress.

Contact Ruth to discuss which of her treatments, either individually or in combination, may help support you back to your optimum health.

Visit Ruth's website Ruth Irving Acupuncture & Yoga for more information about how traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture may help support you.
