Tabitha Gray - Psychotherapy
BSc (Hons), PGDip, MBABCP, YTT
Tabitha is a BABCP-registered psychological therapist who offers evidence-based, compassionate therapy for adults experiencing burnout, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other trauma-related difficulties. Her integrative approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and draws on contemporary models such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT).
Tabitha specialises in working with individuals experiencing burnout and chronic stress, often described by clients as exhaustion, overwhelm or a sense of stuck-ness. She also supports people navigating the impacts of trauma, perfectionism, and low self-esteem. Her aim is to help clients develop a deep understanding of their difficulties - how they began, what keeps them going - and to identify meaningful ways forward, whether through practical changes or new psychological tools.
Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative and thoughtful. She draws on philosophy and works holistically, recognising the broader systemic and social factors that shape mental health. She also places importance on the mind-body relationship, having taught yoga and movement-based workshops in studios and retreat centres internationally, and this continues to influence her practice.
Clients often describe her as deeply compassionate, insightful, and easy to talk to - with a gift for making complex psychological ideas accessible and relevant. She brings a gentle sense of humour and shared humanity to her sessions, helping people feel understood and empowered. Tabitha rejects pathologising narratives - believing people are not “broken,” but responding as best they can to life’s demands.
Alongside her private practice, Tabitha works within the NHS as a psychological therapist. She has a specialist background in long-term health conditions such as CFS/ME, Long Covid, chronic pain and cancer.
